Since [2020] started I haven't been able to play football and I just felt I was losing some flexibility, I guess I would have been stretching a lot before without realizing how beneficial it actually was until I stopped. So I needed to find something else, and a friend recommended either yoga or pilates as a substitute and here we are, I found you on YouTube and liked the videos so I gave patreon a shot

I just did your latest yoga warm-up. Going on vacation (staycation) next week so it's "Courtney Yoga Time" every morning next week to hopefully form a new daily habit. I only do them once every few days so I'm trying to do them more often.

I finally got my back checked out and ended up in physical therapy (slipped disk). Between that and of course your videos I feel 100% better.

I have been through some pretty nasty traffic accidents, and a serious surgery culminating in a fall at work. I felt such a tremendous loss when I was unable to walk and the weakness brought about a lot of mental distress. In my search for answers to discovering why I was so ill, how to help myself recover I came across Courtney's video programs. Wow, how inspirational! I have watched for about a year now and slowly as I have recovered, I find I can now do many of the poses. I have used many holistic therapies in which I learned to aid my recovery but watching her friendly, professional videos helped my mind find a great space to recover.


I was skeptical at first that I would be able to get into some of the positions, but was pleasantly surprised that the exercises and techniques Courtney presented turned my effort into a success.     Howdy Courtney. I wanted to let you know how much I’ve enjoyed your Yoga videos. Even if the do contain excruciating boat poses. As primarily a runner, I find by following your videos my running times have improved and soreness is not nearly as bad or as long.
    BTW, keep the curly hair. : )

      That’s great to hear! Excruciating boat pose?! Couldn’t be! I’ve never heard anything like that before, lol. Yes… it is excruciating for a while, but your practice will continue developing the strength and flexibility needed to make it a breeze! Also, thanks for the vote – definitely keeping the curls!

    Hi Courtney,

    I love your “Beginners Power Yoga for weight loss”. Breaking a sweat while remaining calm. I’m not that flexible and just recently started practicing yoga. How can I improve my forward bend and avoid bending from the shoulders while trying to get my head to the ground.

      Hi Kay! Thanks for writing. Keeping up with your practice is the best way to improve your forward bends. Yes, there are some specific tips I can share for getting out of the shoulder portion or the stretch and getting into your hips more. I will keep you updated as I am developing a program where you can stay in touch with me as I continue making videos and instructing classes for people to reach their goals in Yoga.

    Hello, I have been wanting to try yoga for a while now, I just tried it this morning for the first time with your weight loss video on YouTube. I didn’t think I would feel my muscles doing what looked like simple exercises, but I am feeling it and it’s great! Thank you for sharing your videos!

    Hello Courtney just finished your 30 min yoga for back pain and sciatica…I did modify the pose on the wall. Was able to get my foot position but not yet knee bent. I know I have a long road ahead but motivated to stop pain meds. I also have herniated disks lower back. So thank you. Will continue on a daily routine if possible. My pain level is at an 8. Gayl
