When I teach this sequence in classes, I receive great feedback and results from students. One yoga friend in class told me that she really appreciated the practice because she was able to develop her coordination and deepen into the postures. She said it was similar to singing a song, or playing a song on an instrument:

“It’s not just the vinyasa (of Plank, to Up Dog, to Down Dog) that repeats like the chorus of a song. It is the actual lyrical body of the practice that repeats in a progression, with more depth and understanding each time.”
